We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel our growth in the UK market. As an SDR at a fast-growing cybersecurity startup, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers, creating high-quality sales opportunities for the Account Executive team. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants to build strong fundamentals in B2B SaaS and cybersecurity, with clear progression into a closing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify target accounts and key stakeholders within mid-market and enterprise organisations
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria (e.g. BANT, MEDDICC-light)
- Book qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives
- Articulate the company’s cybersecurity value proposition clearly and confidently
- Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in the CRM (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine messaging and targeting
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline targets
- Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, threats, and customer challenges
Required Skills & Experience
- 0–2 years’ experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (SaaS or tech preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging senior stakeholders
- High level of resilience, curiosity, and coachability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities
- Organised, disciplined, and data-driven approach to sales activity
- Must speak Spanish or Italian to a Professional working level
