Overview
We are working with a leading European financial services organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, alongside a significant programme of security remediation and infrastructure hardening. They are looking for an experienced Chef Engineer to support a cloud hardening initiative, focused on automating and standardising secure configurations across enterprise environments. Overtime is also available if interested.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience using Chef and its tools to manage and automate system configurations
- Good understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience working with Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy
- Awareness of security standards and best practices (e.g. CIS benchmarks)
Desirable
- Experience working within regulated environments (e.g. financial services)
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or cloud migration programmes
