Operating in a highly data-intensive environment, the company is investing heavily in the systems, tooling, and infrastructure that support real-time operational and commercial decision-making. You’ll take ownership of the analytics engineering function, overseeing the development of scalable transformation frameworks, semantic modelling, and data products used across product, operations, and leadership teams. The role will combine technical strategy, platform direction, and people leadership. Responsibilities- Define and execute the roadmap for the analytics engineering and data modelling function
- Lead and mentor a team of experienced Analytics Engineers
- Drive best practices across data modelling, testing, governance, and observability
- Partner closely with software engineering and product teams to improve upstream data quality
- Build scalable self-serve analytics capabilities for business users
- Support the evolution of real-time and event-driven data architecture
- Ensure the platform is robust enough to support advanced analytics and AI use cases
- Act as a senior stakeholder across technology and business functions
- Experience leading Analytics Engineering or Data Platform teams in modern cloud environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge of tools such as dbt, SQL, and modern warehouse technologies
- Comfortable operating as a player-coach in highly technical teams
- Strong understanding of scalable data architecture and data quality principles
- Experience working in high-growth or product-led businesses
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
