I'm supporting an SAAS client, hiring a Business Analyst / Knowledge Architect to identify, quantify and prioritise automation opportunities across a growing technology business. You'll work closely with stakeholders and AI delivery teams to map processes, uncover inefficiencies, build automation business cases, and prepare documentation and knowledge assets for AI-enabled solutions, including LLM and RAG-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Map current-state business processes through stakeholder interviews, workshops and process analysis.
  • Identify manual effort, bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
  • Build automation business cases including ROI, effort reduction and operational impact.
  • Translate business requirements into clear delivery-ready specifications for AI and automation teams.
  • Design and maintain knowledge structures, taxonomies and AI-ready documentation.
  • Audit, clean and restructure SOPs, policies and training materials for AI consumption.
  • Create process maps, SOPs, RACI documentation and adoption materials.
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of automation opportunities and track realised benefits.

Required Experience

  • Proven Business Analysis experience within technology, SaaS or digital environments.
  • Strong process mapping and workflow discovery skills (BPMN or similar).
  • Experience in Knowledge Management, Information Architecture or Content Structuring.
  • Understanding of AI, LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
  • Experience with Confluence, Notion or similar documentation platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
  • Ability to quantify operational processes using metrics such as volume, effort, cycle time and cost.
  • SQL or strong data literacy desirable.
  • Experience delivering as a contractor or consultant preferred.
