We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows 11 Architect to join our IT team. As a Windows 11 Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, design, deployment, and management of Windows 11 environments across the enterprise. You will work closely with IT operations, development teams, and security professionals to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of Windows 11 across all user devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows operating systems, virtualization, enterprise environments, and best practices for managing large-scale Windows 11 rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Windows 11 Architecture & Deployment: Lead the planning, design, and deployment of Windows 11 across the organization, ensuring a seamless transition from previous operating systems (such as Windows 10). Develop strategies for Windows 11 upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to end users and business operations. Manage and configure Windows 11 deployment tools, such as Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and other provisioning systems.
- System Integration: Design solutions to integrate Windows 11 with enterprise systems and applications. Ensure compatibility between Windows 11 and business-critical applications, hardware, and third-party tools. Work with security and compliance teams to ensure Windows 11 environments meet regulatory standards and internal security policies.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Windows 11 for performance, reliability, and security within the enterprise environment. Implement and maintain automated systems for patch management, software distribution, and system monitoring.
- Security Management: Oversee the configuration and deployment of security settings, including Windows Defender, BitLocker, and Windows Security features. Work with IT security teams to implement enterprise-wide security measures, including endpoint protection, data encryption, and access control.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for Windows 11 issues across the organization. Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex system issues and provide guidance on best practices for support and maintenance.
- Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain detailed documentation on Windows 11 architecture, deployment processes, and best practices. Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end users on Windows 11 features, functionality, and updates.
- Collaboration & Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful implementation of Windows 11 projects. Work closely with the product and IT teams to address any system limitations and ensure Windows 11 integrates effectively into the organization's overall technology stack.
