Technical Business Analyst
6 Month FTC

My client is looking for a highly skilled Data Mapping & Integration Business Analyst to take ownership of creating a robust data map – a comprehensive catalog of all data sources, dependencies, locations, and contractual agreements with third-party suppliers. This role will play a key part in enabling their digital transformation and strategic data initiatives, including AI, Machine Learning, and Data Product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a comprehensive data map covering all data resources, dependencies, ownership details, and integration points.
- Document contractual agreements with third-party suppliers regarding data maintenance, compliance, and governance.
- Develop strategies for migrating data sources into the internal infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration.
- Clearly outline data flow dependencies and system interactions across the technology landscape.
- Develop a clear overview of system integrations, identifying technical dependencies and data flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency by providing detailed documentation of existing data infrastructure.
- Ensure that all documentation and findings are accessible and actionable for both technical and business teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports on data cataloging progress, risks, and insights.
Strategic Contribution
- Provide critical insights from the data map to support AI, Machine Learning, and Data Product initiatives.
- Facilitate long-term data strategy by ensuring a transparent view of resource dependencies and third-party agreements.
- Align the data mapping exercise with the broader digital transformation and business objectives.
