We are seeking an experienced Proactive Resilience & Innovation Consultant to support a large-scale Operational Resilience programme supporting a banking client in a complex enterprise technology environment. The role will focus on analysing Important Business Services (IBS), mapping technology dependencies, and designing severe-but-plausible disruption scenarios to identify systemic resilience risks. This is an execution-focused role supporting the operationalisation of resilience across engineering and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Map technology dependencies supporting critical services
- Design and analyse severe-but-plausible disruption scenarios
- Identify systemic technology risks impacting impact tolerances
- Support resilience assessments and impact tolerance analysis
- Produce scenario analysis, service dependency, and risk insights
- Support prioritisation of remediation activities
- Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and operational stakeholders
Key Skills & Experience
- Operational Resilience, Technology Resilience, or Business Continuity experience
- Experience with IBS, resilience assessments, or service dependency analysis
- Strong understanding of technology risk and operational failure scenarios
- Experience within large enterprise or regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions and drive practical outcomes
Desirable
- Financial services experience
- Knowledge of UK Operational Resilience and/or DORA
- Exposure to ServiceNow, CMDBs, or observability tooling
- Infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture background
