You will be responsible for driving the creation of new AWS cloud environments, managing the migration of critical enterprise workloads, coordinating data separation and migration activities, and ensuring robust governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the migration of key applications, services, and workloads into newly established cloud environments.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, cutover activities, rollback plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate data migration and platform transition activities, ensuring the integrity, categorisation, and separation of data with zero data loss.
  • Establish and execute communication, engagement, and business change plans to support successful adoption and operational readiness.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Legal, Architecture, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project governance, reporting, RAID logs, budgets, and executive‑level status updates.
  • Lead project teams and third‑party delivery partners to ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks, issues, and change control processes.
  • Monitor delivery performance across scope, cost, quality, timelines, and resources, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure project deliverables are formally accepted and transitioned successfully into operational support models.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience delivering large‑scale cloud, infrastructure, platform, or data transformation programmes.
  • Proven track record managing cloud migration projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience delivering projects involving AWS and cloud‑native technologies.
  • Exposure to Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure services, enterprise applications, and data migration strategies.
  • Experience managing projects involving data governance, security controls, regulatory compliance, or information management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical, operational, and business functions.
  • Strong vendor and third‑party supplier management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including executive‑level reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience managing project governance, budgets, RAID logs, and programme reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with evolving priorities and multiple delivery streams.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed and hybrid delivery teams.

  • Outside IR35.
