Java Platform Engineer

Experience: 10 years | Tech: Java, MySQL, AWS

We’re looking for an experienced Java Platform Engineer with a proven track record of working in capital markets (either buy or sell side) to join a small, high-calibre team supporting and enhancing a proprietary multi-asset trading platform.

What You’ll Do

• Support and develop a mission-critical trading system
• Deliver new features, improve core platform code, and manage releases
• Build MIS reporting and support automation/STP with third-party systems
• Work directly with traders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to UI, cybersecurity, and broader system enhancements

What You Bring

• Strong hands‑on skills in Java, MySQL, and AWS
• Experience delivering server‑side Java projects
• Shell scripting knowledge
• Problem‑solving mindset, curiosity, and the ability to work independently
