We are currently seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to join our team on a short-term contract basis to support critical IT service continuity during a high-impact period.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of major incidents from identification to resolution
- Coordinate rapid response teams and lead recovery efforts
- Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders at all levels
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews
- Work closely with Problem and Change Management teams to prevent recurrence
- Proven experience managing high-severity IT incidents in complex environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Experience in large enterprise environments is highly desirable
