An established consumer business with a strong online presence is hiring a Lead Analytics Engineer to shape how data is modelled, governed and consumed across the wider business. Real ownership, real technical leadership, and a modern stack to build on.
The role:
- You'd sit within the Analytics Engineering team, working closely with the Analytics Engineering Manager but operating with a lot of autonomy.
- The role is domain led, meaning you'd take ownership across areas like customer, commercial and operations, shaping the definition and delivery of analytics engineering solutions end to end.
- Not a line management role, but a genuine technical leadership one.
- You'd set the bar for modelling, testing, documentation and governance, mentor the wider team, and be the person other engineers look to on the harder architectural calls.
Tech stack:
- Snowflake
- dbt
- SQL
- Python
- Fivetran
- Dagster
- DataDog
- Tableau
- AWS (SageMaker, EC2, Lambda, Glue, S3)
- Terraform

- Jira
- Confluence
What we're looking for:
- Advanced SQL, genuinely at the top end for complex modelling and performance work
- Deep hands on dbt experience, extensive scalable model design
- Strong Snowflake experience including performance and cost optimisation at scale
- Proven experience shaping analytics engineering at a business domain level
- Python for automation and processing
- Confident with stakeholder management across product, marketing, finance and data science
- Comfortable operating independently and making calls in ambiguous environments
- A mentor who takes real pride in raising the bar around them
What's on offer:
- Up to £85,000 base
- Up to 30% bonus
- 1 day a week in the London office
- Modern, well invested data stack with genuine scope for impact
