I'm looking for an AI Automation Engineer to design, build and deploy AI-powered workflows and automations across a modern SaaS technology environment. You'll work on a range of operational efficiency initiatives, integrating AI models, automation platforms and business systems to reduce manual effort, improve reporting and streamline internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AI-enabled automation workflows.
- Develop integrations using APIs, webhooks and automation platforms.
- Implement LLM-powered solutions for workflow optimisation and process automation.
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines and vector database integrations.
- Develop prompt frameworks and evaluate AI output quality.
- Create event-driven automations and AI-powered reporting solutions.
- Ensure solutions are secure, monitored, documented and production-ready.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements and identify automation opportunities.
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering AI and LLM-powered automation solutions in production environments.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience building API and webhook integrations.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic or similar LLM platforms.
- Experience building RAG solutions and working with vector databases.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation and optimisation techniques.
- Strong focus on reliability, security and operational excellence.
- Experience operating in SaaS, technology or fast-paced digital environments preferred.
- Previous contractor or consultancy experience highly desirable.
