What Is the Opportunity?

Welcome to a product role where you actually steer the ship. As our Insurance Product Manager based in London or Northampton (with hybrid flexibility), you will take full ownership of our high-impact Lifestyle product super-segment. You won't just be executing pre-determined plans; you will have the autonomy to bring your own creative, data-led ideas to the table, validate them, and deliver them through our optimisation roadmap. This is a fantastic space to showcase your skills, dive deep into performance, and make a real, visible impact from day one.

What makes this role different from standard product manager positions? You get the best of both worlds: deep, hands-on segment ownership coupled with high-profile, macro-level strategic influence. You will work closely with our SME Senior Product Manager to feed your insights directly into our broader, macro-level Insurance Product SME strategy. If you're looking for high-visibility, true autonomy, and the chance to build valuable relationships with internal digital teams and external insurance partners alike, this is your space to shine.

As one of our Insurance Product Managers, you’ll:

  • Own the optimisation roadmap for your segment, validating, developing, and delivering data-led initiatives that hit key customer, commercial, and strategic OKRs.
  • Interrogate trading data to understand funnel performance and provide clear insights explaining the 'what' and 'why' behind our segment metrics.
  • Work with our Insurer Relations and Partnerships teams to deep-dive into partner performance and help broaden our insurer footprint.
  • Collaborate with Digital Product and UX/CX teams to support customer discovery, map user journeys, and ensure we are translating big strategic outcomes into clear, customer-friendly delivery plans.
  • Navigate competing priorities to make smart trade-offs, ensuring we protect both the customer experience and our commercial delivery plans.
  • Identify delivery risks across our optimisations early, taking collaborative action to protect our outcomes and keep things running smoothly.
  • Champion product governance, supporting Fair Value Assessments and managing our product pipeline to secure the best customer outcomes.
  • Support the SME Senior Product Manager to ensure your segment’s multi-year roadmap feeds directly into our broader, macro-level Insurance Product SME strategy.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • An insurance industry expert with a solid background in insurance, a clear understanding of how products work, and ideally, experience with Public Liability (PL) and Employers' Liability (EL).
  • Data and trading-minded, enjoying diving into numbers, analysing data, and spotting trends to drive product improvements.
  • A strong stakeholder manager who is an engaging communicator, capable of keeping internal and external partners aligned on major projects.
  • A cross-functional collaborator who excels at working across boundaries, particularly with technical and digital product teams.
  • Proactive and resourceful, using your own initiative to take ownership of a project or problem and deliver it successfully from start to finish.
  • Customer-focused and collaborative, caring about doing the right thing for the customer while making balanced decisions that put the team first.

We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work.

If you are excited to take the lead on our Lifestyle product segment, use data to spark clever improvements, and collaborate with fantastic teams to enable the big dreams of small businesses, apply today.
