We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Planning Cloud Developer & Support Specialist to manage, maintain, and enhance our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) ecosystem. In this dual role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and technical support of Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS/PBCS) applications while actively collaborating with finance stakeholders to design, build, and deploy enhancements to the existing planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development & System Enhancement: Design, build, test, and deploy enhancements to Oracle EPM Planning Cloud applications, modules (Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects), and custom plan types. Write, debug, and optimize complex Groovy scripts, Business Rules, and Calc Scripts to support automated calculations and business logic. Develop, maintain, and optimize Data Integration / Data Management (FDMEE) routines, metadata loads, and data load rules. Build and customize Smart View templates, Financial Reporting (FR) Web Studio reports, and Management Reporting dashboards for finance users.
  • System Administration & Operations: Manage user security, roles, group assignments, and access permissions using Oracle Access Management/EPM Cloud Security. Oversee monthly Oracle EPM Cloud patch updates, test application compatibility in Non-Prod environments, and manage deployment cycles. Monitor daily data loads, batch schedules, automation scripts (EPMAutomate), and system performance.
  • Production Support & Incident Management: Act as the Primary Tier 2/3 Technical Support contact for global finance and accounting users during monthly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles. Diagnose and resolve system errors, data reconciliation mismatches, performance bottlenecks, and user access issues. Raise, manage, and elevate Oracle Service Requests (SRs) through resolution.
  • Stakeholder Management & Process Optimization: Partner with FP&A and Finance leadership to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications. Conduct user training sessions and maintain detailed technical documentation, process flowcharts, and runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle EPM Planning Cloud (EPBCS / PBCS).
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Groovy Scripting and Essbase calculation scripts. Expert‑level understanding of Oracle Data Integration (ODI) / Data Management and metadata administration. Strong mastery of Smart View for Office (Excel integration) and EPM Report Designer. Hands‑on experience with EPMAutomate and command‑line automation scripts.
  • Functional Knowledge: Solid foundation in core accounting and FP&A concepts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow forecasting, cost allocations).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle EPM Cloud Implementation / Technical Certification (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service Certified Implementation Specialist).
  • Hands‑on experience with other Oracle EPM modules (PCM / Profitability & Cost Management, ARCS, EDM).
  • SQL and database querying skills for backend data reconciliation.
