We are recruiting for a Global Marketing Director / VP for a group in the consumer brand / fashion sector based in London (West). The group is extremely dynamic, high growth and a worldwide market leader in their field.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing global strategic plans for marketing and communication initiatives and development of the global portfolio.
- Globally responsible for ensuring the marketing efforts are aligned with the group's business plan and organisational goals.
- Creating, managing and adjusting global marketing plans and budgets.
- Driving growth in revenue from both in-house and 3rd party brands.
- Developing a world class brand identity that resonates with the customers' current and future needs.
- Leading a global team of marketing managers and professional teams across geographies.
- Overseeing the development of marketing materials, events, promotions and other brand engagement activities.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing and communication campaigns and promotions.
- Work very closely with the global business teams and country/region Directors to align with local markets.
- Partner the global digital team to enhance brands online visibility and engagement.
- Working closely with all key stakeholders including senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:
- Educated to degree level in Marketing or a business related subject - Masters / MBA an advantage.
- At least 10-15 years experience in a global dynamic consumer brand / fashion or similar group.
- Prior experience leading the Marketing strategy reporting to senior leadership.
- Strong market and customer focus.
- Great track record of developing global brands and defining marketing, communications, advertising, promotions and overall driving traffic generation and revenues.
- Ability to lead a geographically dispersed team of Marketing Managers / Teams - coaching and developing people.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in both strategic and operational marketing roles.
- Preferable experience within FMCG, fashion, luxury, beauty & fashion etc.
