Position Overview:

We are leading an effort to bring on board a talented Electronic Design Engineer – Mixed Signal to become a valuable member of mid sized team one of our successful clients a renowned global R&D/ high-tech organization. This is a newly created role due to expansion of their international team of Engineers in the UK.

In this senior hands-on, cross-functional role, you will be overseeing gathering of the technical requirements, design, develop and test next-generation high-tech systems used in several applications, life science including.

This is a great opportunity for a senior hands-on, creative, energetic, Electronics Engineer with a background in mixed signals. Your confidence in transforming analogue signals into digital to contribute to cutting-edge technology and vice versa will make you a successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement circuits to convert analogue signals into digital formats
  • Optimize signal processing techniques to ensure high accuracy and reliability
  • Enhance digital and analogue circuits for various applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into overall product architecture
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs
  • Plan comprehensive testing protocols to validate digital and analogue designs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during the testing phases
  • Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of digital and analogue components
  • Create detailed design documentation: schematics, PCB layouts, and component specifications

Qualification:

  • Technical studies: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in digital and analogue circuit design and product development with a focus on signal processing
  • Experience with design tools such as Altium, C language and others
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to digital and analogue signal processing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, but also collaborative international environment
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
