Learning Support Assistant to start September 2025 - 30 hours per week (non-negotiable) Monday to Friday: 8.40am–15.20pm, 39 weeks per year. Salary Range XCET PS3.2 - £16,903.00 per annum pro-rata (£23,576.00 Full Time Equivalent).

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at St Edmund's Catholic Primary School in Godalming. The position would suit someone either looking to move on to a career in teaching, or committed to the role of Learning Support Assistant.

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Have a determination to make a difference in the children's progress and development
  • Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children
  • Have the ability to work as part of the team as well as through their initiative
  • Have good English and Maths skills/knowledge (GCSE Equivalent)
  • Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with, including promoting independence where possible
  • Will preferably have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning
