Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a named child to start 1st September 2026, fixed term until 31/08/2027 - 30.83 hours per week.
Monday to Friday: 8.40am–15.20pm, 39 weeks per year (inc. a 30 min unpaid break)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Godalming. The position would suit someone either looking to move on to a career in teaching, or committed to the role of Learning Support Assistant.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have a determination to make a difference in the children’s progress and development
- Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children
- Have the ability to work as part of the team as well as through their initiative
- Have English and Maths GCSE's (or able to evidence equivalent)
- Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with, including promoting independence where possible
- Will preferably have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning
