Position overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to assist with the day-to-day and month-end accounting operations of a BTC-denominated hedge fund. The role involves supporting NAV processes, loan and expense reconciliations, BTC flow coordination, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, strong attention to detail, and a practical understanding of digital asset workflows. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to institutional-grade crypto fund operations and collaborate closely with top-tier service providers and counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Handle all intra-month and month-end accounting workflows.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from the Fund Administrator, Investment Manager, and Xapo.
• Reconcile monthly loan book and process interest accounting, including intra-month adjustments.
• Oversee Revolver loan reconciliation and associated reporting.
• Initiate and manage expense settlements (liaising with third parties).
• Process all necessary accounting journals for up-to-date fund records.
• Prepare and finalise monthly interest invoices to counterparties.
• Provide monthly snapshot reports and documentation to the Fund Admin.
• Finalise fund accounting by the 3rd business day each month, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Support final NAV approval and investor statement distribution.
• Manage the wallet whitelisting process (with Operations and Treasury).
• Coordinate flow of BTC to/from Counterparties and Investors (with Operations and Treasury).

Skills needed

• Strong accounting foundation.
• Operationally hands-on, able to handle counterparty settlement and treasury coordination.
• Solution-oriented mindset; able to resolve unstructured issues independently.
