Content Writer – Marketing (Remote – Work from Anywhere)

Position overview
The Content Writer, reporting into the VP of Marketing, will play a crucial role in developing and executing Xapo Bank’s content strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and brand positioning.
- Lead SEO efforts to increase visibility and organic search rankings, collaborating closely with web developers.
- Manage content production across various formats including blogs, white papers, video, and social media, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
- Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure content is scheduled, produced, and published in a timely manner.
- Analyze content marketing data and SEO performance to continually refine strategies and tactics, maximizing effectiveness and ROI.
- Own the content and design for Xapo Bank\’s website
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, PR, and digital marketing, to create synergies and leverage content across all channels.
- Lead and expand the content marketing team, nurturing talent and developing skills to meet evolving market and organizational demands.
- Foster relationships with key influencers, thought leaders, and external partners to amplify outreach and content distribution efforts.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure that our content is ahead of the curve.
Skills needed:
- Solid experience in a similar role spanning content and organic marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in content marketing and SEO, with a strong track record of enhancing organic search and engagement.
- Video content creation, video production and editing skills would be highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data to make informed content decisions.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen understanding of what resonates with target audiences.
- Experience with content management systems, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Search Console).
- Experience having worked in the Crypto industry.

Xapo Device Policy
Consultants joining Xapo Bank must comply with the Xapo Device Policy, which governs the use of corporate-approved laptops under Corporate-Owned, Personally Purchased Device (reimbursed up to $1,500) or Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled Device (personal device with enforced security controls).
All devices must meet security requirements, enroll in Xapo’s Mobile Device Management (MDM), and adhere to compliance rules. COPPD devices remain Xapo property with buyback options upon exit. COPED users agree to data control measures, including mandatory corporate data wipes.
Compliance with the Xapo Device Policy is mandatory for all consultants, onboarding will not proceed without adherence to the policy.
