Responsibilities:
- Support the QA Engineering team in implementing structured QA processes and methods.
- Manual testing and validation of our user interfaces for client delivery projects, platform and techops teams to the specification and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure high quality standards are met within the software development lifecycle.
- Support project managers and DAC team members with scoping and requirements, including writing acceptance criteria.
- Feedback all bugs, defects and failures collaboratively.
- Create, maintain and execute manual test cases.
- Participate in SCRUM events, including daily stand ups, retrospectives and planning.
What we are looking for?
- 2yrs+ of experience as a manual QA Engineer for web based applications.
- 1yrs+ of experience with Azure DevOps.
- 1yrs+ of experience with SCRUM delivery methodology.
- Strong skills in writing manual test cases.
- Experience of multiple types of testing, including Exploratory, Regression, Smoke etc.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
- Ability to support PMs and DACs with requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a cross-functional team including developers, project managers and data scientists.
- Interest in learning automation testing techniques.
Bonus points if you have:
- ISTQB Certified.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of API.
- Knowledge of Public Sector.
Location – This is a hybrid role based in our office in London (Borough). You would be expected to be able to work from the office at least 1-2 days per week. Some travel is also required for on-site client engagements as needed.
