The Dispensing Optician plays a vital role within the dispensing team. They are responsible for delivering the dispensing function to the highest professional standards while maintaining strong, positive relationships with both patients and colleagues. Acting as the crucial link between the consulting room and the dispensing process, they ensure a seamless and professional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding patient care through professional, courteous service and accurate dispensing.
- Ensure all administrative, financial, and clinical tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
- Support and train team members.
- Assist with patient consultations.
- Select and fit eyewear.
- Manage spectacle orders.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Maintain high professional standards and uphold the company’s image.
- Stay up to date with clinical knowledge and professional development.
Must be comfortable in confidently presenting and dispensing high-end, designer, and bespoke frames.
Qualifications
