Job Title: Deputy Food and Beverage Director

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy Food and Beverage Director. In this role, you will work closely with the Food and Beverage Director to oversee the operations and management of all dining experiences within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, optimizing revenue, and maintaining high standards of service quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to develop and execute strategic plans for achieving departmental goals and revenue targets.
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all dining outlets, including serviced property dining, bars, banqueting, and delivered catering. Ensure efficient workflows, adherence to operational standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Staff Management: Supervise and mentor a diverse team of food and beverage professionals, including managers, chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to optimize team performance and foster a positive work environment.
Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control measures for food and beverage operations. Analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while minimizing expenses.
Menu Development: Collaborate with culinary teams to create innovative menus that reflect current food and beverage trends, seasonal offerings, and guest preferences. Ensure menu offerings are diverse, appealing, and aligned with the overall brand concept.
Guest Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality service, addressing guest feedback and concerns promptly, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience.
Supplier and Partner Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients, beverages, and equipment at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize value and support operational needs.
Event Management: Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of special events, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions hosted within the food and beverage areas. Ensure flawless execution, exceptional service, and guest satisfaction for all events.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and drink offerings.
Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling software is a plus
