Job Description

As an Agency Senior Health Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and residents, helping with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks. You'll work across various care environments including care homes, supported living units, and residential settings.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Supporting individuals with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
  • Administering medication (if trained)
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff on shift
  • Accurately documenting care and observations
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

Requirements

  • At least 6 months' recent experience in a senior healthcare assistant role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent preferred)
  • A caring, professional, and reliable attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
