Several mid-senior job positions are now open for PHP developers in London ideally with experience working with APIs. We are looking for motivated developers with confidence in the design, development, testing and management of APIs within both server based and serverless environments.
The job is located at our impressive North London offices where our skilled teams collaborate to deliver high quality projects to an amazing set of tier 1 clients all with engaging and challenging requirements. We can offer Visa sponsorships but this role does require you to reliably commute to work in our offices to be part of a close knit team that will work, support, challenge and innovate together. Limited hybrid working plans are available where a reasoned request is approved.

- PHP
- APIs – Good experience designing, developing, testing and managing APIs within both server based and serverless environments.
- Design & implementation of API solutions & strategy
- Building optimised APIs that ensure security, usability and reliability
- SQL – Strong experience with SQL based databasing
- Commercial experience with the use of DevOps toolsets for CI/CD automation
- Unit Testing
- Commercial experience with GraphQL and gRPC
- Expert in RESTful principles including JWT, JSON, Integration, YAML language and Open API Specification Standard.
- Strong experience in OAuth2 implementations using identity/SSO tools
- Knowledge of virtualised technologies and techniques, such as containerisation
- Experience with NoSQL technologies

- Possess outstanding attention to detail and understand the need for high quality documentation.
- Collaborate with various companies (vendors, operators & others) to provide technical recommendations and specifications for wider industry adoption.
- Be highly experienced in the Agile methodology and processes with a hands-on approach to assist with the design and prototyping for product backlog and road-mapped features.
- Be able to work towards deadlines, being personally resilient and able to handle, at times, the pressure of a demanding workload and complex client needs.
Location
This role is primarily office based in the company’s recently renovated, stunning offices in North London (1 min walk from East Finchley tube on the Northern Line). Limited hybrid working options can be considered.
