Note: This is a hybrid role with regular in-person meetings at our Leeds, England office. Candidates must be within a reasonable distance and able to commute to the office comfortably as needed.

Due to incredible growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to support the expansion of our client base and drive sales opportunities across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will manage inbound and outbound sales activity, qualify leads, and ensure a high standard of customer engagement and support. Reporting to Head of Majors and Account Management, you will be responsible for customer retention, customer satisfaction and tasked with selling additional products and services to your customer base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Investigates the customers’ current and potential business thoroughly in order to identify immediate and future sales opportunities.
  • Learn the portfolio of products and professional services sufficiently to be able to articulate the propositions to prospective clients and identify if the Company can sell into an organization.
  • Build and sustain a prospect platform to achieve or exceed the assigned customer appointments and ultimately, sales targets.
  • Work closely with the Sales Management to brief them on new, qualified leads, in a timely manner and substantiate the leads generated.
  • Responsibilities include generation of customer quotations, customer satisfaction, customer retention, contract management, and building vendor relationships.
  • Maintain forecast of opportunities on SalesForce.
  • Deal with inbound and outbound sales enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years of proven experience as an IT sales professional with a strong track record of success.
  • Knowledge of Networking is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of profiling accounts.
  • Experience of identifying, generating and qualifying leads.
  • The ability to learn and develop new skills whilst showing that you can prioritize work efficiently and productively and manage your time well.
  • Self-motivator, results and quality orientated, good organizational skills, attention to detail, positive helpful attitude.
  • Excellent customer skills essential – strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Offer:

  • £60,000 – £85,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + uncapped commission (potential to match base)
