We are seeking a Fresh Electrical Engineer with a willingness to obtain ECS Card. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with proven electrical experience to contribute to innovative projects within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
  • Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections
  • Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems
  • Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations
  • Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation, wiring, and upgrades
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and complete certification

Qualifications

  • Masters/Bachelors in electrical engineering
  • Proven experience working with electrical systems in industrial or construction environments
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work
  • Experience with heating meters, meter gateways, and smart systems
  • Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems
  • Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
