Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
- Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections
- Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems
- Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations
- Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation, wiring, and upgrades
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct inspections and complete certification
Requirements:
- Engineering‑level qualification in Electrical (Degree/Diploma) with UK ENIC equivalency to UK standards
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- ECS Gold Card required
- Experience with heating meters, meter gateways, and smart systems
- Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems
- Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
