As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our fixed network projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design, planning, installation and maintenance of civil works, cable laying and associated works for deploying long haul, FTTH/FTTX, FDH, Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) for all fixed network projects.
- Implementation of all projects SOW, SLA, KPIs and preparation and implementation of Resources Plan, budget, business plan, Project implementation plans, risk assessment, plans, contingencies and projects delivery plans.
- Lead Project Management Department and ensure proper planning, implementation, monitoring and successful delivery of projects up to client expectations.
- Administers the project plan and ensures delivery of multiple FTTP projects to time, cost and quality in a safe and compliant way.
- Client management – including Tier 1 contractors, local authorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor and track project expenses to ensure they stay within budget.
- Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry within the UK.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
