Title: Business Development Manager (Power power distribution, EV charging, High Voltage Low Voltage works and utility projects.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across service lines including power systems automation, substation design, grid compliance studies, and renewable project development Engage with Tier-1 organizations, network operators, developers, investors, and principal contractors.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients while forging new partnerships to drive recurring revenue Lead the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, PQQs, and proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.
Monitor procurement portals, frameworks, and market activity to identify upcoming opportunities.
Manage the end-to-end tender process, including bid scheduling, compliance tracking, and document production.
Track UK regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively position services.
Provide strategic feedback to senior leadership on market gaps, client needs, and service expansion opportunities.
Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, forecasts, wins/losses, and market intelligence.
Qualifications and
Skills: Proven UK experience (5+ years) in business development within UK in Electrical, Power and energy infrastructure sector.
A successful track record of winning new business and securing framework agreements.
Must have experience in renewable energy, Solar Installations, electrical infrastructure power distribution, EV charging, High Voltage Low Voltage works and utility projects.
