Street Work Coordinator

The company collaborates with major telecom and IT clients across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and the UK, including Etisalat, du, Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson, Al Catel, Telenor, Dewa, the Ministry of Defence, Expo 2020, RTA, and other government and non-government organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Permit Application: Apply for traffic management street work permits from relevant local authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
2. Area Knowledge: Use your knowledge of UK regions to ensure accurate permit applications.
3. Technical and Documentation Skills: Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail in documentation.
4. Service Availability: Ensure high service availability and performance through effective coordination.
5. Compliance and Reporting: Monitor compliance with street work regulations and report issues to the Senior Network Coordinator and Street Works Manager. Provide solutions and foster collaboration.
6. Timely Responses: Respond to permit application requests within required timescales.
7. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with customers, local authorities, and utilities, considering their feedback to improve contract performance.
8. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with statutory undertakers, reflecting the company\’s values.
9. Coordination: Coordinate highway occupation requests and respond within statutory timescales.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Network management experience in a relevant environment.
• Knowledge of permit schemes for road and street works.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice.
• Experience working to targets and tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with street works management systems such as Street Manager, Confirm, NSG, and one.network.
• Educational background: GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
• NRSWA accreditation is required.
• Valid full driving licence.

Experience:

• Street Works: 2 years (preferred).
• Telecom Industry: 2 years (preferred).
