We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Managed Service Provider who are seeking an experienced 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their technical team. This role would suit a confident, customer-facing engineer with strong MSP experience who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical support, project delivery, and onsite client engagement.

The Role

  • Providing high-quality technical support remotely and onsite
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex support issues
  • Delivering infrastructure and cloud projects from design through to implementation
  • Configure, support, and maintain networks and firewalls
  • Working closely with customers to understand technical challenges and provide effective solutions
  • Carrying out site visits, system upgrades, and planned maintenance
  • Producing clear technical documentation and handovers

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in a 2nd / 3rd Line role within an MSP
  • Strong background supporting Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
  • Solid understanding of networking and security, including firewalls and VPNs
  • Familiarity with backup and business continuity solutions
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence
