We're looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping our people agenda.
About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will work in true partnership with senior leaders and managers across the business to co-create, implement, and embed Xaar's People Strategy. You'll be a trusted advisor, helping to build organisational capability, drive performance, and deliver real business impact. This is a broad and influential role where you'll balance strategic thinking with hands‐on operational HR delivery across UK and global stakeholders.
On a typical day you'll be:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to implement the Xaar People Strategy
- Leading organisational design and annual workforce planning for your areas
- Providing expert HR advice and coaching to line managers on performance, change, and employee relations
- Managing complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence) with confidence and commercial awareness
- Driving initiatives to boost employee engagement, inclusion, talent development, and succession planning
- Leading HR input into business change projects
- Continuously improving HR processes for greater efficiency
- Delivering insightful people metrics and dashboards to demonstrate impact
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years' experience as an HR Business Partner
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing end‐to‐end employee relations in a non‐unionised environment
- Experience operating at a strategic and operational level, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment (highly desirable)
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) – desirable
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to balance multiple priorities
