Help shape the future of people at Xaar. At Xaar, we build world-class technology — but we know it’s our people who really make the difference. We’re looking for an HR Business Partner who loves building strong teams, partnering with leaders, solving people challenges, and creating workplaces where people genuinely want to be. This isn’t a “sit back and process paperwork” HR role; you’ll be right in the middle of the action, helping shape culture, driving change, and making a real impact across the business.

If you’re commercially minded, people-focused, and enjoy working in fast-moving environments where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you. We care deeply about our technology, our customers, and each other.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll partner with leaders across the business to help bring our people strategy to life, making sure we have the talent, culture, and capability to support our ambitious goals.
  • Coaching and supporting managers through all things people-related.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to drive engagement, performance, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Supporting business change and transformation projects.
  • Helping shape workforce planning and organisational design.
  • Leading on employee relations cases with confidence and pragmatism.
  • Driving improvements across HR processes and ways of working.
  • Using people data and insights to influence decision-making.
  • Supporting initiatives around wellbeing, inclusion, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Working closely with the wider HR team to continuously improve the employee experience.

This role gives you the opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and longer-term people strategy, so it’s ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on delivery with bigger-picture thinking.

What we’re looking for:

We’re less interested in overly corporate HR jargon and more interested in finding someone who’s proactive, approachable, and genuinely great with people. You’ll probably bring:

  • Around 3+ years’ experience in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Confidence advising and influencing managers at different levels.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing momentum.
  • A collaborative mindset and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Great communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Bonus points if you’ve worked in manufacturing, engineering, tech, or other fast-paced operational environments. CIPD qualification is great, but mindset, attitude, and impact matter just as much to us.

Why join Xaar?

Because you’ll have the chance to help shape a growing business where people genuinely care about what they do. You’ll be joining a collaborative team, working with leaders who value HR as a strategic partner, and helping create an environment where great people can do their best work. No unnecessary layers. No endless red tape. Just meaningful HR work, good people, and the chance to make a real difference.
