A leading consultancy based in the UK is seeking a Veeam Specialist to deliver robust, secure and scalable data backup and recovery solutions to enterprise clients.
Veeam Backup Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design, deployment and management of Veeam-based backup and recovery environments.
- Work across virtual, physical and cloud platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure).
- Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs, replication and disaster recovery plans.
- Contribute to backup infrastructure upgrades, migrations and optimization.
- Liaise with client IT teams and vendors for support and upgrades.
Veeam Backup Specialist Key Skills Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on Veeam experience (Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, Veeam Availability Suite)
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or Azure environments
- Knowledge of backup strategy, RPO/RTO, disaster recovery testing
- Familiar with enterprise storage systems and backup scripting (PowerShell a plus)
- Good understanding of Windows Server infrastructure and AD
Data Privacy & IG Consultant Desirable Certifications:
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
