Global Head - Transaction Monitoring Location: London (hybrid) Our client is seeking an experienced Group Head of Transaction Monitoring to lead and evolve its global Transaction Monitoring (TM) function within a fast-paced fintech and digital assets environment. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing transaction monitoring across both fiat and cryptocurrency payment flows, ensuring compliance with global AML/CFT regulations while supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a team of Transaction Monitoring Analysts, ensuring high-quality investigations and continuous capability development. Design, implement and maintain transaction monitoring policies, procedures and control frameworks across fiat and digital asset products. Develop and enhance the Transaction Monitoring component of the Business-Wide Risk Assessment (BWRA), including monitoring rules, thresholds and risk methodologies. Partner closely with Compliance, MLROs and business stakeholders to ensure effective monitoring of high-value and time-sensitive transactions. Oversee transaction monitoring across both traditional payment rails and blockchain networks, including optimisation of RegTech and blockchain analytics solutions. Manage escalation processes, suspicious activity reporting and the production of management information to support senior leadership and regulatory oversight. Skills
