The Role
As Head of Technology, you will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that power international payment flows. This is a hands-on leadership role, blending technical depth with strategic oversight. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, product, and operations to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technology function, including software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and architecture.
- Develop and implement the overall technical roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure systems meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and scalability, particularly in regulated financial environments.
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Partner with product and operations to deliver new features and capabilities that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

About You
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g. Head of Tech, CTO, or Engineering Director) within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Strong background in software development and system architecture (experience with cloud-native, API-driven, and microservices environments preferred).
- Deep understanding of payment systems, FX, or transaction processing.
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks relevant to financial institutions (e.g. PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Demonstrated ability to scale technology teams and systems in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
