Location: London (Onsite 5 days a week)
About the Role
Our client is seeking ambitious, high-energy FX Sales professionals with experience in FX sales and payments (including FX in payments) who thrive in new‑business environments and are excited by cold calling, outbound prospecting and converting corporate clients. This is a high‑impact role within a market‑leading, FCA‑regulated brokerage offering Foreign Exchange, FX Options, cross‑border payments, and bespoke structured products to businesses across the UK, Europe and Canada. You’ll play a key role in driving new revenue by targeting mid‑large UK corporates, building relationships from scratch and proving your ability to win business in a competitive market. The environment is fast‑paced, high‑performance and built for people who love the thrill of opening and closing deals. You’ll receive comprehensive training, mentorship from senior FX leaders with 10+ years’ experience, funded regulatory exams and an earning structure designed to reward top performers with life‑changing results.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition: Focus on pure new business development — cold calling, prospecting and converting corporate clients in the UK. Research, identify, qualify and disqualify mid‑large UK corporates based on FX needs, payments requirements, and commercial fit.
- Outbound Sales Activity: Make high‑volume introductory calls, run Teams meetings and attend in‑person sessions to progress deals and close bookings. Build, manage and grow a strong pipeline with support from experienced FX mentors.
- Proven Closing Ability: Demonstrate consistent success in closing corporate new business within the UK market.
- Client‑Centric Compliance: Ensure sales activity aligns with FCA standards and maintains a strong client‑first approach.
- Market & Payments Awareness: Stay updated on FX movements, macroeconomic trends, cross‑border payment flows, and how these impact client exposure.
- KPI Delivery: Meet weekly and monthly targets across call activity, quality metrics and revenue conversion.
- Ongoing Development: Participate in training sessions, review calls for improvement and hold yourself accountable for continuous growth.
- Internal Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Corporate FX Sales, FX in payments, or cross‑border payments solutions.
- Proven track record of closing new business in the UK market, specifically mid‑large corporates.
- Confidence in cold calling, outbound activities and opening doors from scratch.
- Strong communication skills across phone, video and in‑person meetings.
- Resilience, competitiveness and a drive to respond quickly to feedback.
- Preference given to candidates with CF30 qualification.
- Fluent English and a consultative, professional approach.
What’s on Offer
- Full onboarding, structured training and funded regulatory exams.
- A lively, supportive culture with excellent benefits: enhanced pension, medical cash plan, and flexible lifestyle perks such as HelloFresh deliveries, private medical insurance, travel vouchers or gym membership.
