Job Title: Senior Risk Analyst (Physical Commodities)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £65,000 (negotiable based on experience)

A high-growth energy and commodities trading firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst to join their expanding team. Specializing in LNG, Coal, and Freight, the firm boasts one of the largest portfolios in the world.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Risk Analyst (Physical Commodities):

• Oversee daily PnL reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all trading books
• Monitor trading activities, identifying any unusual patterns and escalating issues when necessary
• Validate physical commodity deal entries to ensure accurate valuation
• Serve as the main point of contact for traders, addressing PnL-related queries and providing guidance on business practices

Key Requirements of the Senior Risk Analyst (Physical Commodities):

• 3+ years of experience in energy or commodity trading, particularly in middle office roles
• Strong understanding of PnL analysis within physical energy and commodity markets
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to maintain focus under pressure
• Commercial awareness and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
