Role Overview
As a Senior Porting Programmer, you’ll be responsible for adapting and optimising Unreal Engine 5 projects for console platforms, with a strong focus on PS5. You’ll collaborate with a talented technical team to ensure smooth performance, efficient workflows, and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead porting efforts for Unreal Engine 5 projects across multiple platforms
- Optimise performance and stability for console targets, with a focus on PS5
- Utilise Unreal Insights and platform-specific tools (e.g., PS5 Razor tools)
- Collaborate with production and QA teams using Jira and Confluence
- Troubleshoot and profile complex performance issues
- Contribute to improving the studio’s porting pipelines and performance processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Unreal Engine (5+ years)
- Proven experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Shipped multiple commercial titles
- Hands-on development experience for PlayStation 5
- Strong understanding of performance optimisation and memory management
- Experience with Unreal Insights and PS5 Razor tools
- Proficient with project management tools: Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- UK-based and eligible to work in the UK
