OUTSIDE IR35 Home Working Contract opportunity to support an aerospace client on electrical safety considerations as part of a cutting edge development. The client are looking for 3x engineers that have the safety experience to support in each of the below areas; Low Voltage High Voltage (including motor inverter) Electronic Propulsion Unit The standards they are working to include The standards they are working to include; ARP4761 and ARP4754 are the key ones. Then for electronics DO-254 and software DO-178, electrical safety experience gained in different domains can still be considered but you should understand how to work with the above standards. As mentioned – the client are looking for one contractor to support each of the above departments providing expertise on the safety considerations from an electrical engineering perspective including developing the Failure mode Effect Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis and Functional Hazard Analysis looking at the criticality of the motor for example. The roles with supporting with the documentation and an ability to interface with different teams having a wider understanding of how the development comprises of different technical disciplines in order to satisfy the safety requirements. The work has been QDOS assessed as OUTSIDE IR35 and the client can accommodate home working with occasional visits to the Bristol development site (once per week maximum).
