About Our Client

Our client is a global financial technology leader driving innovation across data, automation, and AI. Their solutions power some of the world’s largest financial institutions, enabling them to transform operational efficiency, accuracy, and performance.

They are now seeking a strategic Product Manager with deep expertise in data-driven product development and AI integration to lead innovation across their flagship Air Platform — a next-generation solution focused on intelligent automation, orchestration, and data optimisation.

This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of AI transformation — defining strategy, shaping product direction, and delivering next-level user experiences powered by AI agents, LLMs, and emerging technologies.

The Opportunity

As Product Manager – Data & AI Innovation, you will drive the roadmap for advanced data orchestration and AI-enabled features. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and go-to-market teams to ensure each innovation is technically sound, commercially valuable, and aligned to client needs.

You’ll own the full lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through to launch and iteration — leading initiatives that transform client workflows and deliver measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategy for data-centric and AI-powered product enhancements.
  • Engage directly with clients to uncover insights, validate ideas, and shape new product concepts.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities for AI and data-led innovation.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation and proof of concept to launch and continuous optimisation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed LLMs, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and autonomous AI agents into scalable enterprise products.
  • Work closely with GTM and marketing teams to develop compelling positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
  • Define key metrics and track the ROI of AI-driven capabilities.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes clearly across technical, commercial, and client teams.

Strategic Focus Areas

You’ll define and deliver high-impact innovation across the following domains:

  • AI-Driven Workflow Automation: Deliver intelligent automation that reduces manual work and accelerates client processes.
  • Data Intelligence Layer: Enhance data enrichment, contextualisation, and decision-making using advanced AI models.
  • Intelligent Interfaces: Develop adaptive, conversational UI/UX elements powered by LLMs and logic-driven agents.
  • Analytics & Insights: Build predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and KPI dashboards that empower clients to act with confidence.
  • AI Orchestration (MCP): Oversee integration of Model Context Protocol across product modules for scalable, context-aware intelligence.

Expected Impact & Outcomes

  • Launch of AI-powered features delivering measurable gains in efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ROI from AI initiatives, including cost savings and improved performance metrics.
  • Increased client adoption through intelligent personalisation and automation.
  • Validated innovation pipeline supported by prototypes, pilots, and client feedback.
  • Clear, data-driven roadmaps aligned to commercial strategy and client outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager for data-driven enterprise products.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics, and governance.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models, LLMs, or agent-based systems into commercial products.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into clear business outcomes and ROI.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of cloud data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and orchestration tools.
  • Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Understanding of data processing and reconciliation solutions.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary + excellent benefits package
  • Hybrid working (3 days in-office)
  • 25 days annual leave (rising with service to 28 days)
  • Company pension (matched up to 5%)
  • Group life assurance
  • A unique opportunity to drive real-world AI transformation within a globally recognised fintech organisation
