Role: PMO Type: Contract Location: South West, 2 days onsite Length: 3 months initially Day rate: £300/d inside IR35 (via umbrella) A leading university based in the South West are offering the opportunity for a Project Management Officer to assist the Head of the PMO in maintaining DDaT wide project management and portfolio management governance standards. This is a fast paced role which will involve dealing with a wide range of matters and may include interaction with high profile internal and external collaborators. Key Responsibilities of the PMO include: Coordinate and maintain resource planner in conjunction with the PMO Analyst Schedule and organise various meetings, taking minutes, actions and follow up on outstanding tasks Manage documents and retrieval on projects for PMO team members and wider governance boards Communicate with project leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation, providing them with training, reports and schedules when required Maintain systems for recording projects and portfolios Key Requirements of the PMO include: Strong PMO experience (within higher education is a strong advantage) Ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines on your own initiative Excellent organisational and communication skills Able to learn new systems and procedures quickly This is an urgent role where the client is looking to line up interviews asap.
