Oracle Fixed Asset Functional Consultant

A leading global consultancy are assisting to deliver a major transformation programme for a FTSE 100 technology firm, and offering the opportunity for an experienced Oracle Fixed Assets Functional Consultant to join their expert Oracle Fusion Financials team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile global implementation, shaping and optimising core financial processes across multiple regions. You’ll play a key role in the end-to-end design, configuration, and delivery of the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module, working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements for Fixed Assets and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module — including asset categories, depreciation methods, mass additions, retirements, and reporting setups.
• Support integration with other key Oracle modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Projects (PPM).
• Conduct and support system testing, UAT, and manage deployment activities into production.
• Provide post go-live support, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and enhancement delivery.
• Collaborate with developers on data conversions, interfaces, and custom reports, maintaining an understanding of relevant tables and APIs.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate or extract data for analysis and testing purposes.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation — functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training material.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements based on best practice and business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Functional Consultant.
• Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials and integration points across modules.
• Ability to perform basic technical activities such as SQL querying and data structure analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in producing functional specifications and test scenarios.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

This role is initially a 6-month FTC with salary ranging from £50k-£110k. This role also requires immediate start or up to 2 weeks notice.
