About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing global Yachts trading firm, is seeking a dynamic Yacht Team Manager to lead their trading team and drive market growth across key regions, including the US and Caribbean. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a passion for building relationships, deep yacht market knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering results. You’ll expand market share, manage a high-performing team, and cultivate long-term relationships with Captains and suppliers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the Yachts trading team to achieve ambitious targets.
- Execute and contribute to a global business plan that boosts brand visibility and market share.
- Build and nurture strong, profitable relationships with Captains, suppliers, and key stakeholders worldwide.
- Collaborate with European teams and senior management to implement short- and long-term business strategies.
- Proactively manage risks, vet customers and suppliers, and monitor credit and payment performance.
- Stay ahead of market trends, sector news, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in the yacht industry with strong global market knowledge.
- Well-connected with Captains and networks in multiple regions.
- Results-driven leader able to energize and inspire teams.
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and influencer with a people-first mindset.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to implement process improvements.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- High-level computer literacy and experience with CRM systems.
