Rate: £350-£400/day Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Lead to join our team on a 3–6 month contract (with potential extension). This role is Outside IR35 and offers a hybrid working model, with on-site presence in Sheffield a few days per week.

You’ll be leading the design and implementation of robust, scalable AWS solutions for a major transformation project. Ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of cloud architecture decisions while collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

AWS Cloud Solutions Lead Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven ability to lead cloud projects, manage migration efforts, and deliver high-quality outcomes - management and mentoring experience
  • Deep expertise in AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS, EKS
  • Strong grasp of cloud architecture, IaC, and security best practices
  • Proficient with DevOps and automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
  • Hands-on scripting with Python, Bash, and experience working with JSON/YAML
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and cost optimisation within AWS environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
