I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group HSEQ Manager to join a well-established, family-owned UK manufacturing and engineering business with a long-standing reputation and operations across multiple UK sites.
This is a newly created senior role offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to shape HSEQ strategy, culture and performance across the wider group.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you’ll take ownership of the Group’s Health, Safety, Environment & Quality function, working across multiple manufacturing sites and leading a team of QA professionals.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading Group HSEQ performance and strategy
- Managing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 4501 certifications
- Leading internal and external audit programmes
- Managing and developing the QA team
- Driving incident investigation and continuous improvement
- Maintaining key industry accreditations
- Developing a consistent, proactive HSEQ culture across the business
- Working closely with senior leadership across multiple sites

What are they looking for?
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 5+ years' HSEQ management experience
- Experience leading HSEQ teams and driving organisational improvement
- A background in manufacturing, engineering or project-based environments
- ISO 9001 / Lead Auditor experience or equivalent
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A full UK driving licence
