A fast-growing physical commodities trading firm are offering the opportunity for a Head of Middle Office to lead and strengthen their middle office function.

As the Head of Middle Office, you'll be responsible for overseeing and developing the global middle office team, ensuring accurate trade capture, risk reporting and operational integrity across all trading activities. This is a pivotal role interfacing between front office traders, operations, risk management and finance.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Middle Office (Physical Commodities) include:

• Lead and manage middle office function across all traded physical commodities
• Ensure accurate trade capture, P&L reporting and position reconciliation
• Build, manage and mentor a team of middle office analysts across multiple regions
• Drive improvements in systems, processes and controls to support growth and scalability
• Collaborate with risk and finance teams to monitor exposure, credit and operational risk

Key Requirements of the Head of Middle Office (Physical Commodities) include:

• 5+ years experience in a senior middle office role within a physical commodities trading environment
• Proven experience building and managing a team (preferably middle office)
• Deep knowledge of physical commodity contracts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
