We're growing our engineering team and are looking for a motivated Graduate Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer to help build, test, develop and deploy advanced downhole monitoring and completion technologies used by customers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, innovative team where you'll work on real products and real projects, gaining exposure across manufacturing, testing, product development, documentation and deployment support. What You'll Do

  • Build, assemble and test advanced monitoring and instrumentation systems as part of the manufacturing team.
  • Support the design, development and evaluation of new technologies and product enhancements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions to carry out precision electro-mechanical work.
  • Use hand tools and soldering equipment to create and maintain mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Perform testing and quality checks throughout the build process.
  • Prepare equipment and instrumentation for customer operations and assess returned equipment after deployment.
  • Maintain accurate records to support asset tracking, performance monitoring and fleet readiness.
  • Assist with testing, commissioning and documentation from manufacturing through to installation.
  • Provide technical support to customers from the UK facility and, occasionally, at field locations.
  • Follow safe working practices and maintain high standards of quality and reliability.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (or equivalent relevant industry experience).
  • Passionate about practical, hands-on engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Able to read and work from technical drawings, diagrams and instructions.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and carrying out detailed assembly work.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
