An opportunity is available for an experienced Automotive Cyber Security Consultant to support cybersecurity activities aligned with SAE J3061 and ISO/SAE 21434 on a next-generation British automotive programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting vehicle cybersecurity activities across the development lifecycle
- Performing TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) activities
- Developing and reviewing cybersecurity concepts and requirements
- Supporting cybersecurity case development and compliance evidence
- Working closely with systems, software, and architecture teams
- Supporting cybersecurity validation and verification activities
- Contributing to secure development processes and best practices
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in automotive cybersecurity engineering
- Proven knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and automotive cybersecurity processes
- Experience conducting TARA activities and cybersecurity assessments
- Understanding of embedded systems and automotive architectures
- Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, AUTOSAR, or connected vehicle technologies beneficial
- Previous experience within automotive or other safety/security-critical industries
